Une cérémonie émouvante a eu lieu à Rebecq, ce mercredi 27 mai 2015. C'est par un temps superbe que l'assistance s'est présentée devant le monument du Mémorial de Rebecq.
Cette année, nous avons eu la chance de compter parmi les invités de marque, Monsieur Jack Harris, Colonel aviateur de la RAF e.r. et Président de l'Association 550 Squadron RAF NOrth Killingholme.
Il a été également officier pilote d'un Lancaster, en 1944 et s'est distingué par sa bravoure, à l'époque.
A moving ceremony took place to Rebecq, on Wednesday, May 27th, 2015. It is by the magnificent weather when the people appeared in front of the monument of the Memorial of Rebecq.
This year, we were had the honnor to count among the distinguished guests, Mister Jack Harris, Wing Commander RAF retr. and President of the Association 550 Squadron RAF NOrth Killingholme.
He also was Pilot Officer of Lancaster, in 1944 and distinguished himself by his bravery, in the period.

Nous avions également la présence des élèves de la classe de sixième primaire de l'école Saint-Géry, de Rebecq. Après que nous leur avons expliqué les raisons de cette
cérémonie, ils ont souhaité préparer une lettre adressée à Jack Harris.

Gestapo du 27 juin 1944.

We also had the presence of the pupils of the primary 6th class of the school Saint-Géry, Rebecq. After we explained them the reasons of this ceremony, they wished to
prepare a letter sent to Jack Harris witch the pupil ANAKIN read him.
